Warrington's Golden Square reveals rebrand
Warrington’s Golden Square shopping centre has undergone a rebrand to coincide with a celebration of its recent success.
The complex has overhauled its signage and logo overnight to reflect what it called its latest brand qualities as a modern and fashionable destination for retail.
Ian Cox, Golden Square’s general manager, commented: “Since its expansion and re-launch in 2007, Golden Square has evolved and is now home to many of the UK’s leading high street fashion and consumer brands, rivaling larger North West shopping destinations.
“So, the time just felt right to take the centre’s look to the next level.”
Art director of the Ideas Department, Andre Altay, added: “We opted for a vibrant blue because many other large shopping centres in the North West, such as Liverpool One use red and Intu Trafford Centre now uses orange. We wanted it to stand out from the crowd.”
Mr Cox concluded: “We have had a fantastic reaction from shoppers about the rebrand – they say it gives the centre a fresh new look which is right up there with our main objectives for this change.
“The rebrand includes the launch of a new customer service desk which will also be home to our new mall guide and our friendly customer services team who along with the rest of our staff will be wearing brand new uniforms.
“The centre has recently celebrated being named amongst the best in the country, as well as some of the best footfall and sales figures in the region, so the rebrand has come at the perfect time to move the Golden Square into a new era for our retailers and shoppers alike.”
