Lloyds Bank announces new associate director for South-Yorkshire
The Sheffield office of Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has strengthened its mid-market and large-corporate team by promoting Andrew Carrigan to Associate Director.
Andrew has worked with Lloyds Bank in various roles across the South and East Yorkshire region since he joined as a college leaver in 1976, latterly including a six-year spell at the Leeds office as account manager within its SME lending division.
Tim Pryor, Area Director for Lloyds Commercial Banking South Yorkshire and Humber, said: “Andrew’s promotion is part of our on-going strategy to further consolidate our customer portfolio, develop the relationships we have across the professional community and to support growth and investment throughout the region.
“Our lending figures increased significantly in 2012 and this growth has continued in the first quarter of 2013 – an encouraging sign that stability is returning to the region.
“We will continue to work with mid-market businesses across a diverse range of sectors to help them realise their long-term development plans and Andrew, in his new role, will be instrumental in helping us get an even higher volume of deals off the ground going forward.”
In 2012, Lloyds Bank launched its ‘Lloyds Funding for Lending’ offer for small and medium enterprises and mid-market companies. Using the Government’s £80billion Funding for Lending Scheme, it allows UK businesses to benefit from reduced funding costs.
