Downing celebrate Liverpool office lettings
Property group Downing has cheered a series of new lettings across its portfolio in Liverpool, where it hosts raft of “flexi-office” spaces.
The company, which manages approximately 1m sq ft of office space across the UK, said e-marketing service provider Buy Local Savers Ltd has recently expanded into space in Federation House on Hope Street, while Evoke Solutions UK and Actua Ltd have both taken space at 1 Old Hall Street.
As one of Liverpool’s largest private commercial landlords, Downing said they created flexi-offices to fill a gap in the market between fully serviced offices and traditional lettings.
Robin Ellis, senior agency surveyor for Downing, said: “The interest we have had since launching the Flexi-Offices last year shows that there is a great appetite for the type of office suite Downing provides.
“There’s a healthy flow of enquiries in our Flexi-Offices and we are pleased to be able to help smaller companies establish themselves in a prestigious, cost-effective city centre base.”
Buy Local Savers’ director, Stuart St V Fitzgerald, commented: “We expect our new brand, Buy Liverpool Savers, to firmly establish us as the UK’s preferred marketing solution for business.
“Buy Liverpool Savers will enable us to connect the local business community with local people – enabling both to get better value for what they want through cost-effective marketing.”
Ian Robinson, director at construction cost consultancy Evoke Solutions, added: : “We are pleased to have moved to our new Flexi-Office as it allows the company to have a city centre base and be better-connected with our clients.
“Downing was helpful from the beginning in getting the perfect suite for us and our new space at 1 Old Hall Street will assist in growing our Liverpool-presence.”
