Daresbury IT firm adept4 secure Scottish contracts
Daresbury-based IT solutions business, adept4, has secured two Scottish contracts following the launch of its new office in Aberdeen in April.
The firm won a three-year contract to provide IT solutions and managed services to HR company, Hunter Adams, which has offices in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, as well as a one-year deal to provide support to specialist oil and gas accountancy firm, FW Accounting.
adept4’s Scottish expansion started with its takeover of Aberdeen firm, K10 Solutions, which has allowed the business to tap into the oil and gas industry in the North Sea.
Peter Birkett, chief executive, said: “Expanding our operations in Aberdeen and opening an office there was a strategic step and one that we’re delighted to see is paying off so quickly.
“adept4 already has a number of clients in Aberdeen and having a local office has allowed us to enhance the levels of service and availability that we’re able to deliver to our existing clients. It also helped us to grow and develop our customer base
“Hunter Adams is one of Scotland’s leading HR consultants with a truly global client roster, while FW Accounting provides specialist accounting expertise to a substantial number of Energy and IT Contractors in the oil and gas sector.
“We’re delighted to be attracting such high-calibre clients and are looking forward to adding value to their operations in terms of efficiency, profitability and security by managing their IT and software solutions.”
