JPG expands into Middle East and North Africa
Leeds-based civil and structural engineering consultancy JPG has expanded its services into the Middle East and North Africa.
The business, which has sustained steady growth in the UK despite the extremely tough conditions in the property industry, has established the overseas operations after securing a number of substantial business contracts.
JPG is collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering business Silcock Leadham, which is already operating successfully in Qatar and Libya.
The partnership now offers an inclusive engineering solution for key projects that are emerging in these markets.
JPG International LCC has also been established in Oman offering civil and structural consultancy services.
The venture is sponsored by International Consolidated Engineering (ICE) and mechanical and electrical consultancy services are also provided via a partnering agreement with Silcock Leedham.
JPG established in Leeds in 1988 and since then has grown to become a leading consultancy, nationally, for civil and structural engineering.
It has advised on some of the UK’s most significant developments and is currently providing consultancy services on projects for Haribo, Arla Foods, Worcester Bosch and Carlsberg.
Chris Harding, director at JPG, said: “There are tremendous opportunities emerging in the Middle East and North Africa and we have been able to match the criteria and expertise required in providing new infrastructure for growth areas such as rail, airport and education campuses.
“We look forward to developing our business in these markets and developing our international status.”
