Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment expands UK office network

Manchester-based legal recruitment consultant Douglas Scott is growing its wider UK operation, having made three new appointments.

Sholeh Alemi, 23, joins the company as a legal recruitment consultant, working alongside Yorkshire’s managing consultant Joanne Wilkinson and focusing on Litigation Personal Injury roles. Laura Shepherd meanwhile, 27, has joined the company to help with the increasing number of Commercial Law opportunities at the growing Liverpool branch of the company. Providing additional business support is Leehana Walker, 24.

Sholeh originally hails from Bolton and studied law at Lancaster University. Laura is from Rochdale and studied at Manchester University, before working with The SF Group for four years. Leehana is based in Manchester and joins the company to provide business and administrative support across the group.

“These appointments have been made at a key time for Douglas Scott,” says Kath Riley, MD. “We’ve been building a larger client base all over the UK and in response we’ll be making further appointments in our new London office very soon. New clients and larger briefs mean that our northern offices also require additional expertise. We’re delighted to welcome Sholeh, Leehana and Laura to our growing team.”
