Gradvert launches new graduate job board
A popular graduate recruitment company based in Newcastle – Gradvert – has launched a graduate job board in a bid to make it even easier for SMEs to attract talented graduates in localised areas as well as nationally.
The job board, which launched last week, now allows employers and recruiters of any size to instantly share their graduate or junior vacancies to a mass of graduates at a minimal cost as Gradvert uses its own social media networks and search traffic to promote the vacancies both regionally and nationally.
Since launching, Gradvert - which has already placed graduates with the likes of Go-Ahead Group, NACCO Materials Handling (home the Hyster-Yale brands) and Bede Gaming - has amassed close to 8,000 graduate followers across Facebook, Linked In and Twitter.
What helped was the creation of the highly innovative #NEGrads – the Twitter networking hour, which was selected by the Global Career Brainstorming Trends publication 2012 for its innovative and novel approach to helping employers and graduates connect.
Lisa Bean, the Managing Director of Gradvert said: “We are hugely proud of the success of #NEGrads and the introduction of our new job board. It is great to see both SMEs and huge national companies offering their vacancies to recent graduates in localised regions and we hope the job board can make this even easier still!“
To promote both the job board and the Twitter networking event (which has now ‘gone national’ and has been attended by the likes of Winns Solicitors, the BBC Talent Academy and KPMG) Gradvert is giving away four free job postings. To win, companies simply need to ‘Tweet’ their graduate / junior vacancy during the Twitter networking session (each Wednesday 2-3pm) over the next four weeks. Gradvert is picking one employer to feature and promote each week in July.
The next Twitter networking session takes place Wendesday 2-3pm. Use #NEGrads, #NWGrads, #SEGrads to take part!
