eastQuayIT drives forward thinking and collaboration
A specialist IT services company is bringing the North East’s creative masterminds together for a free seminar with Adobe and Wacom to learn about the latest IT innovations at Ouseburn’s Toffee Factory on 4 July 2013.
eastQuayIT will host a lunchtime seminar for the region’s digital media, advertising and PR agencies – and in-house teams – in Newcastle’s creative hub, Ouseburn.
Guest speakers Matt Balcombe, Computers Unlimited Adobe business manager, and David Oduro, Wacom channel development manager, will demonstrate the newest products and be ready to answer any questions on the software.
Adobe business manager at Computers Unlimited Matt Balcombe will introduce Adobe Creative Cloud. He said: “Collaboration is at the heart of any creative team. Adobe Creative Cloud offers an innovative platform to keep everyone on the same page in order to work faster and in synergy with each other.”
The seminar will also include a presentation on the new Wacom Cintiq 13HD and Pro Pen that allows design to be displayed in the same way as pen on paper. The Cintiq 13HD is the latest in the interactive pen display range by Wacom, which specialises in pen tablets, displays and stylus.
Wacom channel development manager David Oduro said: “Wacom tools are intended to facilitate the creative sector in delivering vision and the Cintiq 13HD has already proved very popular, with excellent reviews.”
eastQuayIT director Ian Fraser said: “We are always looking to see how we can help our clients take advantage of the most up-to-the-minute IT software and provide the best tools for the creative sector to work innovatively.
“It is important to get out and meet the people behind design and digital in order to find out their needs and offer the best solutions for them. We are also thrilled to be able to offer some exclusive discounts on products for those attending.
“It will be a fun and informative session and will offer an invaluable experience for anyone from web designers to film editors.”
The event will be held on Thursday 4 July at 12pm at the Toffee Factory, Ouseburn, and will include a buffet lunch and refreshments. There will also be a free prize draw to win prizes from Apple, Adobe and Wacom, including an iPad and Wacom Stylus. To register for the seminar, visit www.eastquayit.com/adobe-and-wacom-event/.
