TTE new business development appointments
The TTE Technical Training Group has appointed two new Business Development Representatives to grow its business at national and international levels.
Dean Fox, formerly a national sales executive for NETA and Les Peacock, a former corporate services manager with the Northern Training Trust will now work toward attracting new UK and international clients for TTE, the UK’s leading technical training provider to the oil and gas, process, manufacturing and engineering sectors.
Dean has a technical background as a former Principal Metallurgist at British Steel. While at NETA, he was responsible for account management and business development, focussing on engineering, renewable energy, manufacturing and gas sectors, working with the public as well as private sector organisations.
Dean said: “TTE has a globally respected reputation renowned for its training of Operators and Technicians using realistic process pilot plants and working environments. I am looking forward to being part of its continued growth. What is most attractive is its ability to tailor programmes to customers’ needs and its flexibility in delivering programmes of high quality to a diverse range of markets, which provide lasting career benefits for trainees with a range of experience levels and from a variety of different cultures.”
Les, who trained as a chemical engineer, previously provided business support, advice and guidance to Tees Valley and other North East employers while working at Business Link and Investors in People. He also has experience of developing partnerships and service level agreements while working as a Projects Quality Manager at Workwise Personnel Ltd in Hartlepool.
Les said: “The TTE charity ethic of reinvesting its profits back into training and apprenticeships is well known throughout industry.
I am delighted to be part of an organisation that utilises the results of its commercial activities for the training of young people and, therefore, opens career opportunities in industry for those individuals.“
TTE specialises in providing accredited training programmes for the offshore industry and also for overseas clients requiring technician and operator training for new hires. International clients are major oil companies seeking to develop a nationalised workforce often where there is little provision for technical training in country.
Steve Grant, Managing Director of The TTE Technical Training Group, said: “Dean and Les are both tried and tested performers with vast experience of business development in our region.
“They will both be assets to our team, which works with a cross-section of businesses ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to international companies looking to build capability with technical skills for the engineering, process and oil & gas sector.”
