Kyocera Document Solutions open northern HQ

Document solutions firm Kyocera has opened its newest operations base in Manchester city centre, to coincide with the company’s 25th anniversary.

Kyocera will keep its northern headquarters in Manchester, where it has invested £1m in a technology suite in Chancery Place, in the centre of the city’s business district.

The business makes and markets colour and black and white network printers and software solutions, the latest of which they will showcase from their new northern base.

Partners from across the north of England were invited to the launch of Kyocera’s Manchester office launch, which was attended by YO!Sushi founder Simon Woodroffe OBE.

Northern manager for Kyocera, Peter Lunn, commented: “We are delighted to be celebrating our 25th Anniversary here in Manchester with the launch of our new technology suite.

“We have listened to our partners and we see a real opportunity for growth in this region. It is an exciting time for Manchester and we wanted to show our belief in the City by locating our Northern base here.”

Kyocera is based in 31 countries and holds its main headquarters in Reading, with reported organic growth of 77% in the UK in the last three years.
