Urban Splash announce Liverpool tenancy deals

Regeneration company Urban Splash have announced a series of deals across 3,000 sq ft of space in Liverpool.

New tenants of the firm include creative company Error Studio, Architects Practice Meg Design Ltd and the new graduate scheme by Liverpool John Moores University, ‘Hunting in Packs’.

The various new tenants will take space across the 56 Wood Street building in Liverpool’s Ropewalks area, the Vanilla Factory in the same area and Mersey House.

Nicky Harries, commercial lettings negotiator of Urban Splash, commented: “We are thrilled to have completed on these deals and demonstrate once again the strength of our Liverpool portfolio.

“Urban Splash schemes have proved long popular in the city because they have been designed to attract tenants who are looking for an interesting environment in an ideally placed location – whether it is in the heart of city centre or on the arterial outskirts with schemes like the Matchworks in Speke.”

Existing tenant of Urban Space, Untold Marketing, also recently increased its space and moved to the firm’s Tea Factory scheme, taking an additional 815 sq ft to make room for business growth.

Liverpool 3B Records also confirmed it will continue its tenancy at Urban Splash’s Slater Street scheme until 2017, while John Aycliffe Photography plan to stay in the space for another year.

Nicky Harries added: “In spite of the challenging market, we continue to attract businesses to our buildings; whether they’re existing tenants who are growing with us, or new companies looking for more space.

“It’s down to our flexible approach as a landlord, simple lease structures and short term, monthly licenses for small and growing businesses.”
