The week’s North West appointments
Last week saw a number of moves and appointments in the North West. Here, Bdaily gives a roundup of some of the significant manoeuvres.
Manchester Academic Health Science Centre announced Peter Noble as their new chief operating officer, due to start on October 1st 2013.
Mr Noble currently works as the director of operations for the Medical Research Council in The Gambia, and will soon take on his role at the partnership between the University of Manchester and six NHS organisations.
Elsewhere, business advisory firm BDO LLP have promoted director Ruth Percival to M&A partner at its Manchester office.
With more than 15 years experience in corporate finance, Ruth specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, MBOs and fundraising.
There have also been appointments in the creative sector, at Manchester-based interior design studio, NoChintz.
Three new recruits will join the creative team, including recent University of Salford graduate, Melanie Zarins, Abigail Carpe from Capita in Manchester, and Ed Baptist who will join as a middleweight designer after three years with international agency, What If Innovation.
North West digital design agency also appointed new marketing and business development manager, Myke Hamilton at their headquarters in Heaton Moor, Stockport.
Myke previously worked as assistant producer at Gate Films and has a strong background in media and creative industries.
