Two new deals completed at historic Yorkshire Mill
Two new deals have been completed at Sunny Bank Mills, the iconic Yorkshire mill complex between Leeds and Bradford.
Travel company Global Events and jewellery makers Pink Butterfly have moved into the refurbished mill in Farsley, where YTV’s Emmerdale and Heartbeat were filmed.
Global Events has taken an office in Sandsgate, the historic Edwardian Mill office, which has recently undergone a £500,000 modernisation programme, while Pink Butterfly now occupy a studio in the adjacent Red Lane Mill.
During the past two years Sunny Bank Mills, one of the most famous family-owned mills in Yorkshire, has been transformed into a modern office complex for the 21st century.
These two deals come hard on the heels of a hat-trick of transactions in March and a significant 2,000 sq ft letting in April to a UK technology company who declined to be named.
John Gaunt, joint managing director of Edwin Woodhouse, the owners of Sunny Bank Mills, commented: “We are delighted to welcome both Global Events and Pink Butterfly to Sunny Bank Mills.
“Both are excellent examples of quality local businesses being attracted to a quality business environment.
“Their moves underline the versatility and flexibility of space at Sunny Bank Mills, which is attracting an exciting breadth of occupiers.”
