Leeds company in running for energy efficiency award
A Leeds-based contractor, which specialises in domestic energy efficiency improvements, has been shortlisted for a national award, just 12 months after the company was established.
Synergize is in the running for the title of Energy Efficient Insulation Installer in the Energy Efficiency & Renewables Awards that will be announced this September.
The shortlisting underlines the growing reputation that Synergize, which was only established in June 2012, is carving out within the construction industry.
The company, which specialises in solid wall insulation, boiler installations and renewable energy systems, has secured 75% repeat business after delivering improvements to more than 1100 homes across Blackpool, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Liverpool and Leeds through both private and public sector schemes.
Peter Jones, Synergize’s managing director commented: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for this accolade. It is testament to the focus we have placed on the quality of our work, our suppliers and the relationships we have built with individual homeowners and housing providers.
“Here, trust is of paramount importance as it is the vulnerable and low-income households that are likely to benefit as the funding for improvements under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme gathers pace.”
The award winners will be announced at a gala dinner in the Midlands on 12 September, attended by the Minister of State for Energy and Climate, Greg Barker MP.
