Sovereign launches “healthy business” plan for just 90p
A leading health care cash plan provider says its new offering can help improve employee wellbeing and strengthen business performance for less than £1 a week.
Sovereign Health Care’s new ‘Merit’ cash plan offers employers a new, low-cost means of rewarding their workforce by helping them meet everyday health care costs, encouraging treatment and fast diagnosis.
Sovereign’s chief executive Russ Piper says the plan, which costs just 90p per week per employee, offers a boost to the wellbeing of a workforce and the health and productivity of a business.
Merit offers employees 100 per cent payback up to the policy limit on a range of health care costs from dental and optical charges to physiotherapy and acupuncture.
“The new plan not only offers health cover for employees but also gives businesses an affordable alternative to salary increases and bonuses in difficult economic times,” Russ explains.
“Employees are the driving force behind business and introducing a benefit such as the Merit cash plan not only gives a workforce a means of affording their health and wellbeing costs but is a tangible reward that demonstrates a company’s appreciation for good performance and loyalty.”
He adds: “A healthy workforce that feels appreciated and rewarded is good news for the long term success of any business and we are delighted to launch our new, cost effective cash plan to regional and national businesses in our 140th year.”
Bradford-based Sovereign Health Care, which is one of the UK’s longest established providers of health care cash plans, offers a range of corporate cash plan solutions designed to suit different business needs and budgets.
