Warrington design agency scoop up two prestigious awards

Warrington design agency, Future, has won both Silver and Gold at what is considered to be the “Oscars” of the design world; the Roses Creative Awards.

The firm specialises in print and digital media, and won awards for their work in two projects for The Land Trust.

The Gold award was secured for the Land Trust’s Annual Report, and the Silver was given for their use of illustration on their corporate brochure and in other marketing activities.

Roses Creative Awards is open to all creative agencies across the country, excepting London agencies.

Future was established by managing director Nick Yates in 2006, and was originally based in Penketh before moving to Bank Quay House in central Warrington.

Nick Yates, managing director for Future, said: “It is a real honour to achieve these awards especially as we were up against such strong competition.

“We pride ourselves in the quality of our work and try and capture the ethos of the business and the messages that they want to convey.

“In the case of our work for The Land Trust we wanted to articulate their report in a factual and concise way but also make it innovative and fun, which is a reflection of the Trust itself!”

Steve Park, managing director for the town’s growth partnership, Warrington and Co, added: “Future is a fine example of a business that has evolved, developed and flourished having chosen Warrington as its home.

“Congratulations to the team at Future on their double win and for once again proving that Warrington produces product of champion quality”

Future employs six staff and has a client list that includes Langtree, Culture Warrington, The Land Trust, the NHS, Cogent and the Chartered Quality Institute.
