Sanderson Weatherall appoint three partners

Sanderson Weatherall LLP has announced the appointment of three new Partners at its Newcastle office, as it increases the strength of its multi-skilled team, by incorporating a growing pool of commercial property knowledge to add value to its clients’ assets.

The three new partners, who have all honed their skills over a number of years with the firm, are experts in their respective fields.

Richard Scott specialises in the sale, acquisition and letting of industrial and development opportunities in the North-East. Liz McLoughlin specialises in regeneration consultancy including the negotiation of compensation claims arising from Compulsory Purchase. Lee Sanderson leads the national Architecture Team which offers a complete BIM design service through all recognised stages of development.

Richard Farr, Head of Office at Newcastle, said: “We are totally committed to broadening the depth of expertise that we provide to our growing client base. All three new Partners have been with us for some time and have established themselves very firmly in the market. Lee and Liz are part of our national team, working in various offices around the UK and Richard is a market leader in the North East industrial field.”

Richard, who previously worked at Hellen’s Development and Langtree Group Plc, joined Sanderson Weatherall in 2010, whilst Liz started working for the firm in 2008 having previously been employed by Newcastle City Council. Lee joined in 2005 initially to assist with the delivery of several large development projects, having previously worked for other North East practices.

It is very exciting to be part of a firm that is very ambitious and focused, as seen recently by the opening of our latest office in Bristol and the strategy of sustained growth based around the recruitment and development of high quality industry specialists.”
