The Livingcity Group of companies receives ISO certification
The Livingcity Group of Companies – the Manchester headquartered property and asset management firm – is celebrating after securing ISO 9001:2008 Certification.
ISO 9001 is the International Standard for Quality Management and provides companies with a set of key principles that ensures a common sense approach to the management of all business activities and it is designed to consistently achieve customer satisfaction.
The assessment process was conducted over two days by BSI – the business standards company - and included interviews with key staff as well as the senior management team. The quality management systems for each division within The Livingcity Group of Companies – LcBC, Livingcity Asset Management, Livingcity Works, TLCbyLc and Livingcity.co.uk - were carefully reviewed including; customer satisfaction, objective and performance measurement, delivery of core services, audits and competence learning and communication.
One of the main findings noted that the firm’s focus on its IT systems and procedures has delivered a very smooth and comprehensive process with robust controls and clear traceability in a short space of time.
Nikki White – group operations director of The Livingcity Group of Companies – said: “As a business, we are committed to providing the very best service to our clients and the residents we work with as well as to our team. However, we also understand this can only be achieved by continually improving how we work which is why we decided to embark on attaining ISO 9001 certification.
