The Vincent Hotel wins at industry awards
The Southport-based Vincent Hotel has been awarded at the prestigious annual Cateys Awards for its marketing campaign around its Vincent Cafe.
The Vincent was selected by a panel of judges as having one of the most innovative and intelligent campaigns across the country, in an event that was attended by over 1,100 of the hospitality industry’s elite.
The award recognised the Vincent Cafe campaign for having “pushed the boundaries” and it’s “wittiness”, which the Cateys judges highlighted.
Paul Adams, owner of the Vincent Hotel, said: “We are delighted to be recognized as having the best independent marketing campaign of 2013.
“We were up against some stiff competition and some of the country’s best establishments. To have won this award is a huge compliment and shows the excellent work we have done in the last few years. This is a testament of the hard work and dedication of all of the staff.”
The Southport restaurant was shortlisted from hundreds of entries alongside two other establishments including, the multi award winning Chewton Glen in Hampshire.
The Vincent Café and the Warehouse Kitchen and Bar, also owned by Paul Adams also retained its double AA rosettes for culinary excellence and is noted in all the major good food guides.
The award marks the café’s third major award since it launched.
