NoChintz continues leisure sector success
Manchester interior design and branding studio NoChintz has completed a number of projects for clients in the leisure sector and is celebrating its appointment on a number new ones.
Longstanding client Natural Retreats has retained the Northern Quarter based business to design a further two of its luxury self-catering eco resorts in the USA following its successful delivery of the interior design of its John O’Groats and Yorkshire Dales resorts this year.
The company has also been appointed to design the new Cross and Corner bar in Edinburgh on behalf of client The Shilling Group.
Speaking of the new wins, Lucy Goddard, creative director at NoChintz said: “Natural Retreats has been our biggest client in the past year and to work on their unique product is an honour; to have been appointed to do more with them as they expand their offering across the Atlantic is testament to the work we do.”
The NoChintz track record in the sector has also been bolstered by the other recent leisure industry projects it has delivered. In Manchester, the team has just completed its work at InBloom; a temporary venue in Manchester’s Spinningfields. There, they developed a unique ‘outside-in’ bar through providing furniture and dressings to outdoor and indoor spaces and has specifically chosen items with a multifunctional nature, suitable for both environments.
Natalie Gray, the NoChintz director heading up the team’s bar and pub projects said: ‘Our creative team has worked closely with Fluid Bars and Allied London to combine the interior concept with InBloom’s newly launched brand by allowing the colours, furniture and dressings to reflect its organic, earthy theme.
“The concept really does provide a fresh, innovative new addition to Spinningfields’ existing offering. InBloom compliments the thriving communal space that has been established over the past few summers and we’re really delighted to have been involved in this exciting project.”
Other recently completed work in the sector includes the Natural Retreats resorts in John O’Groats and the Yorkshire Dales.
NoChintz was established in 2007 and has since developed into one of the region’s most exciting creative studios. This year it has increased its turnover to £1.55m and has completed more than 1,000 projects for 250 clients since its launch.
