5* hotel launches life-changing retreats with spa pioneer
Rockliffe Hall, in County Durham, has announced the dates for its much-anticipated breaks designed especially for people aged 50 and over.
With more people than ever falling into this age group, the 5* resort is leading the way in the North of England by offering special residential programmes designed specifically for men and women 50 plus.
Rockliffe Hall’s award-winning spa has joined forces with one of the leading names in the spa and holistic wellness industry to offer the exclusive ‘Fab@50+’ residential breaks. Having developed and managed leading spa names such as Champneys and The Sanctuary in the UK and Chiva-Som in Thailand, Tanya Wheway is considered a modern pioneer in her industry.
Rockliffe Hall’s spa director, Liz Holmes, has spent many months working with Tanya to design the exclusive Fab@50+ retreat for men and women which will offer techniques, advice and programmes to provide long term health and well-being benefits.
Tanya personally developed the Fab@50+ breaks which currently only run at Champneys Health Resort in Tring, Hertfordshire so these will be exclusive to Rockliffe Hall in the North of England.
The residential break at Rockliffe Hall will cover diverse topics such as nutrition and weight management; fitness and vitality; skincare and grooming; and positive health and anti-ageing advice. During the course of the retreat, there will also be workshops examining positive mental attitude, relationship management, stress management and how to identify and achieve future aspirations and goals, as well as many opportunities to indulge in Rockliffe Hall’s spa facilities and treatments.
The four-night/five-day breaks run from September 23rd-27th 2013 and January 27th-31st 2014. Places are limited to 12 per retreat to ensure each guest can make the most of the experts and facilities on offer.
Tanya Wheway said: “The Fab@50+ retreats allow people to learn helpful ways to stay positive and happy at all stages in life and gain an insight into inspiring and new approaches to living fabulously at 50+. The breaks have proved incredibly popular in the past because guests can take the time out to learn useful new things about themselves, try activities they may have never considered and take away practical ideas to further enhance their lives. I know, from personal experience, that life really can begin at 50+. Rockliffe Hall is such an idyllic location and I’m very excited about working with the Fab@50+ guests to help them enhance their health, fitness and appearance as well as to enjoy life to the full.”
Liz Holmes, Rockliffe Hall’s spa director, added: “We’ve spent many months working with Tanya to get the Fab@50+ break exactly right for our guests. Tanya’s expertise is phenomenal and people will learn such a lot from her inspiring techniques and workshops. We aim to give our guests the best methods to take away with them to make realistic lifestyle changes and goals whilst also providing the opportunity to enjoy the exceptional facilities, therapies, service and pampering provided by Rockliffe Hall. The retreats will be very relaxed, for both men and women, and already have a proven track record in offering life-changing benefits.”
