Care firm creates 16 new Sunderland jobs
Newcastle-based care provider, Philip Parkinson Homecare (PHP), has revealed plans to expand that will create 16 new jobs in Sunderland.
PHP provide care services for adults and children, from half hour calls to 24-hour, seven-days-a-week care.
Philip Parkinson, chief executive said: “I am delighted to announce the acquisition of new contracts requiring at least 16 new staff as both Personal Healthcare Assistants and Senior Carers. These positions will be full time and can be delivered as part time, flexible positions to support workers’ family commitments.
“This is excellent news for the region and the company which has been established now for 7 years, growing in size and reputation, throughout difficult economic times.
“These new contracts will commence in August, providing secure income to staff and a welcome boost for the area.”
