Leeds recruitment firm aims to double workforce

Leeds-based recruitment firm GrassGreener Group™ has secured a new loan facility from Yorkshire Bank and now plans to double its workforce.

The firm are now looking to expand their overseas operations, which currently accounts for 40% of business.

Plamen Ivanoff, executive chairman at GrassGreener Group™, said: “We expect the next two years to mark a period of rapid expansion.

“We plan on more than doubling our workforce which will help us to increase our activity in the recruitment sector both in the UK and international markets.

“The continued support of Yorkshire Bank has enabled us to take forward our plans at a time when the availability of finance was the catalyst needed to drive forward our business plan.”

Funding comes from Yorkshire Bank’s Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) and matched funding from Finance Yorkshire.

The company uses an online platform that scientifically measures the cultural and behavioural fit of candidates while analysing their practical competencies and experience. Results suggest 96% of placed candidates stay in long term employment.

Yorkshire Bank launched a £1 billion Business Expansion Fund last autumn as part of its support for growing businesses.
