Mini Success for Hardwick Live
An eye-catching Mini Cooper will take to the roads of the north east this month in preparation for a major music event which has attracted top names to the region.
The first ever Hardwick Live Garden Party takes place on 14th September and event organisers have announced Cooper Durham MINI as Associate Sponsors of the one day music event.
As part of the partnership, a Hardwick Live branded MINI Cooper driven by Jordan Roseberry will be seen all over the region this summer to promote the event. A local radio station will also run a ‘spot the MINI’ competition from mid- July for the chance to win tickets to the event.
Jonathan Woodliffe, Hardwick Live event organiser, said: “MINI is the perfect brand to work with for this event. Similar to Hardwick Live, the MINI signifies fun and appeals to a wide audience so the brand and the event complement each other really well.
Headlining the stage at Hardwick Live are Glaswegian rockers Texas who’ll take to the stage for their only north east performance this year after reuniting following an eight year break. Adding to the main stage line-up are Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and Alison Moyet, one of Britain’s biggest female solo performers.
Billy Upton, Brand Leader at Cooper Durham MINI, said: “Hardwick Live is a unique event and a first for the region so we’re thrilled to be involved.
“We recently changed our name from Elvet MINI to Cooper Durham MINI but didn’t have an official re-launch so we jumped at the chance to get involved with Hardwick Live. It’s a great opportunity to support a high profile event and increase awareness about our own new identity.
“The Hardwick Live MINI Cooper will be seen by thousands of people in the region in the build up to the event as well as thousands of people at the event itself, which is brilliant exposure for our brand.”
“I’m really looking forward to going along to the event with my family because the line-up is first class and I’m sure it will be another success story for the region.”
Other highlights of the event include performances from local acts Natasha Haws from South Shields, The Longsands and Twister as well as Britain’s Got Talent sensations the Loveable Rogues.
The Hardwick Live Garden Party takes place at the Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield on Saturday 14th September from 12 noon to 11.00pm and will raise funds for Norton based charity Daisy Chain.
Tickets are available to purchase now and are priced at £39.00 per adult, £10.00 for 13-16 year olds and £5.00 for children aged 3-12 years. Children aged 2 and under are free.
