Fingertip to help businesses climb the HR hurdle
A new HR platform has been designed by a North East based creative consultancy to help businesses streamline their HR operation.
Climb Creative, from Gateshead, has completed work on a complex ecommerce website with a tailored Content Management System which will enable small businesses to access comprehensive and up-to-date HR legislation.
Fingertip Solutions provides a full package of information including online customised staff handbook and employment contract creators and The Online HR Manager, which offers comprehensive step-by-step advice, solutions and documentation across the full-breadth of employment issues.
The website was developed and built on behalf of HR consultant Helen McDougall, who had recognised a gap in the market for a quick, easy and cost-effective way for small businesses to access such information.
Helen said: “There are very few options for small businesses out there when it comes to seeking HR guidance and resources and there’s a minefield of information online which can mean hours spent trawling the net for up-to-date information, so I was keen to streamline this whole process and give small businesses the peace of mind that everything is to hand and completely up to date.”
The site, which was in development for several months, saw Climb, which operates from the Northern Design Centre, combining lots of documents, procedures and complicated dynamic tools in an easy to understand user interface.
Climb’s digital director, Stephen Downey, said: “Due to the complex nature of the end product and the sheer volume of information that the website features, a bespoke and advanced solution was required.”
“Although the site is inherently information heavy, we used a combination of modern techniques to keep it very interactive and user friendly. The ease of use of the CMS was equally as important so that the Fingertip team could input The Online HR Manager, which despite its technical design complexity is very client friendly.”
