Frese sees half year turnover soar as new projects roll in
A Lancashire manufacturer of energy-saving valves has reported a 44% increase in year-on-year turnover for the first six months of the year.
Burscough-based Frese significantly beat its 30% target, experiencing 20% year-on-year growth over the last five years.
It looks set to smash the taregt still further in 2013 after securing major new project successes such as The Shard at London Bridge and De Vere Gardens in Kensington.
Turnover from 1 January 2012 to 30 June 2012 was £1.1m and the figure for the same period in 2013 was £1.5m.
Having recently consolidated sales, assembly and distribution operations at its Lancashire facility, the business employs 10 staff in the UK, but aims to increase that number by the end of the year to meet current demand.
Stephen Hart, managing director at Frese said: “Major projects won this year have kept us busy and seen turnover increase by 44% in the first six months. As the world’s leading provider of pressure independent flow and temperature control valves, we have extensive product and application knowledge, which gives clients confidence and peace of mind when choosing us as valve supplier for energy efficient pumping systems.
“In addition, we commit extensive resource and money into continued product innovation and always offer first class customer service. It all adds up to a great client offering that will ensure we will continue to grow in the future.”
Frese was founded in Denmark in 1944 and opened its UK offices in Burscough, Lancashire, in 2004.
It is a world leading manufacturer of pressure flow and temperature control valves for indoor climate control of energy efficient heating and cooling systems in residential, commercial and institutional buildings.
