Deloitte expands largest tax team in the North East

Deloitte has announced further expansion of the region’s largest tax team with the addition of three new recruits.

The latest additions mean the business advisory firm has a 40-strong tax team working with North East-based clients.

Jo Robertson has joined Deloitte in Newcastle as a senior manager in the tax team. She has nine years’ experience providing tax advisory and compliance services to both corporate clients and shareholders. She has worked with a range of clients from listed international groups to small owner-managed businesses.

Joining Jo in the tax team are Jen Campbell and Myles Lambert, both appointed as senior associates. Myles’ background lies in personal tax and Jen has worked with a large range of clients, with specific experience of the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Stephen Hall, tax partner at Deloitte in Newcastle, said: “These appointments demonstrate our commitment to Newcastle. We are growing what is already the region’s largest tax team and it’s great to welcome such fresh talent onboard as we go from strength to strength.
