Leeds commercial laundry specialist secures hat-trick of contract wins

Commercial laundry specialist JTM Service has secured a new five-year contract with Fabrick Housing Group, one of the largest registered housing providers in the North East, extending its cycle of success in the social housing sector.

The Leeds-based laundry service provider has now secured three new contracts, with a value of around £500,000, in the social housing sector in the last six months.

The Fabrick Housing Group contract encompasses 27 of its commercial and laundry facilities across Tyneside and the Tees Valley. JTM undertook a competitive tendering process to win the business.

Fabrick Housing Group partners Erimus Housing, Tees Valley Housing and Norcare own and manage around 15,000 properties.

JTM will service, repair and replace – where necessary - communal laundry room equipment across all their sheltered schemes.

Fabrick Housing Group asset manager Alan Barnfield said: “JTM Service has a really wide range of experience in the social housing sector and demonstrated the attention to detail on customer care that our tenants will appreciate.

“We were particularly impressed with the account management and the company’s sustainability credentials.”

Founded in Leeds in 1983 by MD John Middleton, JTM Service provides laundry facilities and services for more than 100 social housing providers from the Scottish Borders to the Midlands.
