Big win for Merseyside IT suppliers
Intrinsic Technology, which is based in Haydock on Merseyside, has won a wide-ranging contract to provide telephony, unified communications and wireless overhaul for LCP, one of the UK’s largest independent actuarial and investment consulting firms.
The managed services and cloud computing specialist had to fight off strong competition during a highly competitive tender to secure the contract, which includes three years of support.
Intrinsic will utilise the latest Avaya technology to deliver the unified communications and telephony infrastructure. The solution includes instant messaging, presence, one number reach and click to dial features, allowing staff to communicate more effectively.
The telephony element will be enabled by a revamped wireless network, based on Cisco architecture. Intrinsic boasts top-level accreditations with Avaya and Cisco, as well as a number of other industry-leading vendors.
Kevin Braysher, Head of IT at LCP said: “Intrinsic demonstrated a deep understanding of not only our ICT, but also the strategy of our business. This project is all about improving efficiency, and these systems will have a positive impact on how we carry out our day-to-day processes.”
Adam Jarvis, CEO at Intrinsic Technology said: “LCP is a leader in its field, and now it has a network and comms infrastructure to match. This contract win is a great example of the quality of business that we partner with, and it shows how we can make a real difference to an organisation’s bottom line.”
