Doncaster Rovers’ design agency gets fans ‘Playing to Win’
Design and digital specialists DMSQD have kicked off a new campaign with Championship side Doncaster Rovers as the league season gets underway.
The team at the Barnsley-based agency, which is Rovers official design partner, was challenged to come up with an innovative and eye catching marketing campaign to increase pitch bookings at the club’s Keepmoat Stadium Soccer Centre.
The result was a typography-led design which forms the basis of the ‘Play To Win’ campaign.
DMSQD’s fresh, clear and engaging type comprises cut-outs of a football pitch and will be used across a range of media, including posters, flyers and online channels.
The ‘Play To Win’ campaign, which is due to launch at on Friday 23 August, gives fans the chance to win tickets to a Rovers game every time they make a pitch booking.
Kyle Wilkinson, creative director at DMSQD, said: “Working with a client like Doncaster Rovers is terrific, as the opportunities for pushing our creativity come thick and fast.
“We’re particularly proud of this latest piece of work for the club, which will work well and look great across the various formats.
“As an agency, we’ve been working hard to raise our own bar in creativity and design and this project has really pushed us on a level.”
Shaun Lockwood, head of marketing at Doncaster Rovers, added: “Our ‘Play To Win’ campaign does this perfectly and the team at DMSQD have done a superb job ofbringing the campaign to life in a visuallyimpactful way.”
