Colliers International Leeds to dispose of ten Cameron pubs

The Leeds office of Colliers International has been instructed by Hartlepool-based brewer and pub operator Camerons to dispose of a package of ‘non-core’ freehold pubs in the North East of England.

The portfolio comprises 10 pubs – the majority of which are new to the market. The properties are primarily located in County Durham and Tyne and Wear and range in price from £100,000 to £350,000. All are offered freehold with vacant possession and are available either individually or in groups.

Leigh Parsons, director of Colliers International’s Licensed & Leisure team, said: “Whilst a number of the pubs within this portfolio have possible higher alternative use, the majority are in good trading locations and offer interested parties opportunities to acquire well maintained businesses which are better suited to being run as independent freehouses.”

The news follows Camerons’ recent announcement of a new corporate identity and range of cask brands.

The disposal of these non-core pubs will run alongside their plans for a major acquisition programme intended to increase their estate to 200 sites over the course of the next three years.
