One Trinity Green celebrate tenants’ shortlisting
A super high-tech and environmentally-friendly North East business centre is celebrating the success of two tenants shortlisted for accolades in a prestigious annual business awards – and its management group’s own nomination.
One Trinity Green has proved the perfect base for Advanced Renewable Power Ltd (ARP) and Performance Horizon Group (PHG) to grow and launch their bids to win at the South Tyneside Business Awards 2013.
Renewable energy specialist ARP has been nominated for best newcomer and environmental business of the year, while real-time performance marketing firm PHG is shortlisted as most innovative business.
Groundwork South Tyneside and Newcastle (STAN), which manages the £5.4m business hub, in Eldon Street, South Shields, and was jointly responsible for its development, has also been nominated in the environmental business category.
Business manager Siobhan O’Brien said the nomination success reflected well on One Trinity Green’s credentials for being one of the most productive centres for business in the region.
She said: “Being shortlisted is great for all involved and I think it shows how being in the right business environment can inspire a company to push itself and excel.
“ARP and PHG are run by talented and enthusiastic people and being in a thriving business centre with high-tech facilities has helped them develop and grow.
“Both reflect the ambitious and exciting nature of working and operating from One Trinity Green and of being based in South Tyneside. I’m delighted both they, and Groundwork, have been shortlisted. I hope all will do well at the awards.”
PHG operates unique software for real-time monitoring of performance marketing campaigns with world-wide reach.
As well as South Shields, it works around the clock from offices in Sydney, Baltimore, Mumbai, New York, and London.
ARP specialises in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of renewable energy systems for business and the home.
And Groundwork STAN is a charity which helps people and organisations make changes to create better neighbourhoods, build skills and job prospects, and live and work in a more environmentally-friendly way.
It developed One Trinity Green in partnership with South Tyneside Council. The centre benefitted from £2,466,500 of funding from the European Regional Development Fund, managed by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
It boasts state-of-the-art environmental credentials and pioneering technology which includes high-end IT and telecoms technologies with capabilities that include super-fast internet, wireless connectivity and a stunning telephony platform.
Its award-winning attractions include 35 offices, four workshops and two hybrid units, free parking, conference facilities, easy-in and easy-out tenancy arrangements, and other specialist business support.
The second annual South Tyneside Business Awards, which feature eight categories, takes place on Thursday, September 12, at South Shields Foreshore.
They are organised by South Tyneside Council in conjunction with South Tyneside Business Forum.
