Keighley construction firm hungry for growth after funding

Keighley-based construction and civil engineering outfit R N Wooler & Co Ltd says it intends to expand following bank funding.

The firm intends to acquire additional sites to complement steady growth over the last two decades, fuelled by projects for the likes of Morrisons, Skipton Building Society and Bradford Metropolitan Council.

Norman Wooler, managing director of R N Wooler & Son said: “Barclays’ funding underpins our growth plans. We’ve recently identified further development opportunities which will see the acquisition of additional sites to provide steady growth over the coming years.

“We know the property sector has been difficult for some in recent years, so we’re delighted that we’ve been able to weather the storm and continue with our growth plans.”

R N Wooler & Co were established in 1985 and employ over 200 staff. Turnover this year is expected to be £30m.
