Miller unveils new family homes at Acklam development

Miller Homes unveiled its eagerly awaited development of 32 prestigious new family homes in Acklam to house hunters.

Following the announcement of its new St Mary’s Green development, the leading housebuilder was overwhelmed by the response from prospective buyers as over 300 people expressed their interest in the site located in one of the region’s most sought-after neighbourhoods prior to its launch.

The bespoke sales centre, showhome and view home at St Mary’s Green in Acklam, which offers a range of spacious four and five-bedroom detached homes, is now open to the public following the special preview event.

Amongst those who attended the opening weekend was Lynda McCabe with her partner Michael Mellon and their seven-month daughter Evie Grace. Lynda said: “We’re currently living in Linthorpe and are looking for a larger family home. We were really excited when we found out that Miller was planning to build some new family homes in Acklam and couldn’t wait for the development’s launch. Acklam is a fantastic area with some excellent schools so St Mary’s Green, which looks like a very attractive development, would be an ideal location for us.”

Amongst the house types to be released at the highly-anticipated development will be the four-bedroom Buchan, Crompton, Esk, Glenmuir and Stevenson as well as the five-bedroom Jura and Shakespeare.

Homebuyers interested in securing one of the development’s 32 high specification homes, which are currently available priced from £269,950, will now be able to explore the development’s stunning five-bedroom Jura showhome and four-bedroom Crompton view home.
