Warrington digital agency soars towards its first million
Cheshire digital agency Space 48 has reported a record financial year, having tripled in size in two years.
The Warrington website specialist, founded in 2008 by managing director Jon Woodall, is planning for further expansion to keep pace with growing demand.
The agency currently employs 17 staff and is taking on two new members this month. Turnover is £800,000 - and on track to reach £1m in 2014.
The agency specialises in creating and marketing online e-commerce sites using the eBay owned Magento web platform.
It also specialise in web development, pay-per-click, web design, search engine optimisation and email marketing, operating via its own online presence, www.space48.com
The firm’s roster of clients, including Naylors, Taps and Dawsons Music, and it recently won the Best E-Business Project accolade at this year’s Big Chip Awards for their work with Taps.co.uk.
Mr Woodall said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the way the business has performed. Thanks to sheer hard work, and the talent of our dedicated staff, over the past two years, we’ve grown everything from the office space and our staff to our turnover
“We aim to continue our accomplishments and growth. We currently have a great list of clients and it’s really exciting working with them.”
“Clients now realise the opportunities that the online world presents and want more from their websites, whether that’s more transactions or more leads.”
