Independent coffee house Moose now loose in Manchester
Independent retailer Moose Coffee has opened a new store at Bruntwood’s York House in Manchester.
Moose Coffee was founded by Nick and Kathy van Breemen in 2006 after developing a passion for food during their travels across North America.
The pair decided to bring an American and Canadian influenced breakfast and brunch experience to the north west, and have developed their concept across several of Bruntwood’s properties
The opening of the Manchester shop follows the successful growth of Moose Coffee in Crosby and their second shop in Liverpool city centre at Bruntwood’s Queen Insurance buildings on Dale Street.
Nick van Breeman said: “We wanted to continue to build on the success of the Moose brand in Liverpool by opening a new shop in Manchester.
“Working with Bruntwood to find a suitable property in Manchester city centre was seamless. We knew, having worked with the team before, that the level of customer service they would provide us with would allow us to get up and running quickly and with very few complications.”
Toby Sproll, Bruntwood’s head of retail said, “When Nick and Kathy approached us with their expansion plans, we instantly knew that the space at York Street would be the perfect location. The shop is a short walk from the bustling Piccadilly area of Manchester and at the same time benefits from a high business customer footfall.
“We appreciate the important role that independent businesses play in creating a unique sense of place in all the cities we work in and will continue to support the likes of Moose in the long term.”
