Radfan recruits operations manager
AN award winning North East energy efficiency company has strengthened its team with the appointment of an operations manager.
Joshua Gebhard, from Blyth, will be responsible for overseeing the production of the Radfan, a revolutionary fan unit created by North Tyneside entrepreneurs Roland Glancy and Simon Barker.
The Radfan attaches to radiators and stops hot air rising to the ceiling by re-directing it back into the room - making homes up to 2ËÂÂC warmer at a cost of around £2 a year in electricity.
Along with designing, setting up and managing the Radfan production facility at North Shields, Joshua, a former purchase and customer service manager, will manage a team of assembly staff, improve quality control and monitor stock levels.
“Joshua’s appointment is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of the Radfan,” said Roland.
“It also marks the first stage of a rolling recruitment programme. Over the coming weeks and months we will be looking to fill a number of temporary and permanent positions as the Radfan goes into production.”
For further information about the Radfan call 0191 645 0935 or visit www.radfan.com.
