SONE adds specialist engineer to growing team
Following a recent announcement that it will add injection blow moulding to its growing range of services, SONE Products has announced a key appointment to its engineering team.
Joining SONE at an exciting time in the company’s development, specialist IBM engineer Leslie Whitlock brings with him extensive experience of working in both extrusion and injection blow moulding disciplines.
During his 35 years in the plastic manufacturing industry Leslie has enjoyed a number of roles including that of service engineer, honing his skills by working in rigid packaging for global brand leaders. He has particular experience within pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging, where exacting standards are required.
This appointment demonstrates SONE’s commitment to employing people with the necessary skills to support its continued growth and ongoing success, as it enters new markets.
Speaking about his role and looking forward to the challenge of working for clients in new sectors, Mr Whitlock said:
“ I am delighted to be joining SONE as it introduces a new service and as the company’s growth plans gain momentum following the recent investment.
“I believe that there is a strong synergy between my background in pharmaceutical and healthcare and what will be expected of me working on products for the personal hygiene, oral care and cosmetics sectors. I am confident that my skills will compliment those of the existing technical team.”
