Cheshire gets ready to celebrate business excellence
The 10th annual Trinity Mirror Cheshire Business Awards will take place next month, with the event sponsored by SAS Daniels LLP.
The awards ceremony, recognising the achievements and successes of businesses in the region, is the most prestigious of its kind in Cheshire.
Over the past ten years, the awards have honoured businesses and individuals who have demonstrated the entrepreneurial spirit, determination and innovation to create new businesses or expand existing ones.
The event, on Friday 4 October at Chester racecourse, will not only be a celebration of past successes, but also of the future of business in Cheshire, with the on focus companies that have excelled and enjoyed sustained growth over the past year and continue to do so.
Kaye Whitby, head of SAS Daniels’ Chester office and judge at the awards, said: “I am very much looking forward to recognising the achievements of Cheshire’s vibrant business community. It is a great opportunity to showcase what local businesses have to offer, as well as allowing the chance to look at some local rising stars.”
There are eleven awards categories in 2013 including business start up, young business person of the year, business of the year (small, medium and large), green business, customer focus, business person of the year, inspiring apprenticeships, corporate social responsibility and employer of the year awards.
Jonathan Whittaker, senior partner at SAS Daniels, said: “I am delighted the firm is sponsoring this celebration of the superb achievements of this region’s businesses. All of the short listed candidates have shown great business acumen and excelled over the past year, and I wish them all the very best of luck”
Tickets for the event, which will see the most influential of the regions businesses gather for a night of celebration, are on sale now from Trinity Mirror, by calling 01244 606472 or email enquiries@cheshirebusinessawards.co.uk
