Keoghs recruit three new partners
North West law firm Keoghs has appointed three partners in Greater Manchester.
The firm has recruited partner Estelle Machell, who specialises indefending large loss and catastrophic personal injury claims. She joins from the Manchester office of Clyde & Co.
Litigators Mike Pope and Anthony Mangham are the other new recruits, although Mr Pope is returning to the firm after six years with Weightmans.
Mr Mangham spent 16 years with Berrymans Lace Mawer.
Several staff have transferred between Clydes and Keoghs recently.
In November 2012, Damian Ward, head of fraud at Clydes, took a team of 17 to Keoghs after quitting the firm in the summer. Keoghs had previously hired Manchester head Dene Rowe.
In March this year, Keoghs litigation co-head Peter Unsworth leftt the firm for Clydes.
Keoghs’ director of technical claims, Gary Fitzpatrick, said: “With vast knowledge, broad experience and a unique combination of skills, we are delighted to welcome Estelle, Mike and Anthony to Keoghs expanding technical claims teams.”
