Leeds’ Epiphany Group to lead international fashion retailer’s expansion

International fashion retailer TSHIRT Store has chosen Leeds-based Epiphany Group to manage its expansion into the UK.

Epiphany and its PR and social media arm, Shackleton PR, also based in Leeds, have been tasked with growing the brand in the UK market and establishing its presence through social channels and in the consumer media.

This will involve the re-development of its website, ongoing PR and social media activity and wider reaching campaigns to increase sales and raise awareness of its two existing stores in the UK.

Shackleton will also be heavily involved in the launch of new high street stores as they open throughout the UK.

TSHIRT Store, founded in Sweden, has opened 17 stores since its launch in 2006, including Stockholm, Shanghai and London’s Covent Garden.

The brand sells a range of creative, fairtrade printed t-shirts, accessories and phone covers, including designs commissioned by international artists under its DEDICATED label.

Johan Graffner, CEO of TSHIRT Store, said: “TSHIRT Store has an ambitious store roll-out plan for the UK and since this is one of the world’s most competitive retail markets we focused hard on finding the right agency.

“We feel that, with Epiphany, we have the web development expertise, underpinned by Shackleton’s innovative and results-driven approach to PR and social media.

“They grasped our concept right from the start and have the creative flair to engage and grow our target market.”

Rob Shaw, CEO of Epiphany Group, added: “We’re delighted to be working with a really fantastic, dynamic fashion brand - helping it to establish itself in a new and potentially lucrative market. We feel we’re the right agency fit and have the expertise to match the brand’s ambitious growth plans.”

Chris Hughes, head of PR and social media at Shackleton, said: “This is the type of brand which demands creativity, and I know the team has the flair to deliver some fantastic results.”
