Historic Success for The Albany

Over 150 people gathered on Thursday evening at The Albany on Old Hall Street to celebrate Liverpool heritage month and the history of the iconic Albany building.

Built in 1856, the Albany was a cotton trader office using the Port of Liverpool. In that year, the RMS Persia completed what was at the time the fastest ever transatlantic voyage from Liverpool to New York.

Guests at the event celebrated this momentous year and the historic link between the Big Apple and Liverpool with a New York style BBQ, classic cocktails and beers which were served in the buildings award winning courtyard throughout the evening.

A live band entertained guests for the evening while there were tours available of the luxury show apartments from City Residential staff.
