Jones Myers named as 'First Tier' firm in two Legal 500 categories
Leeds-based Jones Myers LLP has been named as the joint highest ranking Yorkshire firm for family law and contentious trusts and probate in the new release of Legal 500, the national and international guide to law firms.
Further, Martin Holdsworth, who recently joined the firm from Gordons LLP to head the Jones Myers’ contentious trusts and probate department, has been included in Legal 500’s elite list of outstanding lawyers nationwide.
Jones Myers has also been highlighted once again as a ‘First Tier’ firm within Legal 500’s Family: Leeds and West Yorkshire; North Yorkshire section.
Four other Jones Myers lawyers have been named in the guide, specifying their excellent work in family law. They are Fiona Kendall, Kate Banerjee, Peter Jones and Richard Peaker.
Peter Jones, the founding partner of Jones Myers LLP, said: “To be ranked yet again as number one firm by this legal industry bible is recognition of our ethos, our practical approach and pioneering work in collaborative family law.
“This is the first time that Legal 500 has included a separate listing for contentious trusts and probate outside of London so we are pleased that we have received the highest ranking for Yorkshire in this new category.
“We are also delighted that partner Martin Holdsworth is named as a leading individual in this field - one of only three outside London.”
