National Retailers Peacocks And The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Arrive At Glossop Retail Scheme
Derbyshire-based Peveril Securities, in partnership with Real Estate Developments, has announced Peacocks and The Edinburgh Woollen Mill as the latest retailers to sign up to its Howard Town shopping scheme in Glossop, Derbyshire.
The national clothing retailers have taken a large unit measuring over 9,000 sq ft and will be trading the Peacocks and Edinburgh Woollen Mill brands, the latter of which will also incorporate home furnishing brand Ponden. The retailers will join existing tenants, M&S Simply Food, Cotton Traders and Mountain Warehouse amongst others. The stores will open on 3rd October.
“Peacocks and Edinburgh Woollen Mill complement the existing offering at Howard Town extremely well and we are delighted to have secured them both,” commented Ralph Jones, managing director of Peveril Securities. “We are in discussions with retailers for the remaining three units.”
James Ridings, director of Real Estate Developments, added: “The commitment of Peacocks and Edinburgh Woollen Mill to Howard Town underlines the strength of the scheme as a whole. We have been extremely pleased with how successfully Howard Town has embedded itself as part of the thriving town of Glossop, which benefits from an extremely wide catchment area. “
