Renewable energy specialist gears up for growth

A leading UK renewable energy company is gearing up for growth after expanding its product range in response to increasing customer demand for green heating systems.

As more and more consumers look to take advantage of cash incentives offered for switching from gas and oil to wood burning boilers, 7 Energy has widened its product portfolio to include the leading ETA range of log and wood chip boilers.

Managing director Martin Dowley said the move, which will see Midlands-based 7 Energy become a distribution partner for UK-based Innasol Limited, would mean customers were offered an expanded and comprehensive choice of high-quality renewable heating technologies.

The company is already a supplier and installer of ÖkoFEN boilers, recognised as being one of the most efficient and innovative wood pellet boiler brands in Europe.

Mr Dowley said: “We are committed to offering the best green heating systems available on the market to our customers, which is why we have such a long-standing relationship with ÖkoFEN – a relationship which continues to go from strength to strength. But as more customers start to consider switching from gas and oil, we wanted to make sure that we were in a position to offer both wood chip and log burning systems which would complement our ÖkoFEN range of wood pellet boilers.

“That’s why we are delighted to have teamed up with Innasol, an award-winning company which works exclusively with Austrian-based ETA in the UK. ETA, like ÖkoFEN, is dedicated to the production of high specification biomass heating boilers and we are looking forward to being able to offer customers access to Europe’s best biomass boilers, whether they be pellet, chip or log burning systems.”

The product range expansion follows the announcement that the Government will extend its Renewable Heat Incentive scheme to include domestic boiler installations next year. Customers installing renewable technologies will receive quarterly incentive payments for making the switch to green heat, and they can already take advantage of the Renewable Heat Premium Payment which assists with the initial cost of a boiler.

Shrewsbury-based 7 Energy, formally accredited by the UK’s Microgeneration Certification Scheme, has demonstrated that it has achieved the highest quality standards for biomass, and the addition of the ETA boiler to their product range can reassure customers of their dedication to sourcing the best in renewable technologies.

Mr Dowley added: “To become a partner in the Innasol network our company, as well as being MCS certified, had to demonstrate it’s commitment to renewable energy, proving experience in consulting, installing and servicing renewable heating systems to the highest standards.
