Double deal at award-winning Escrick Park Estate
Two deals have been completed at the award-winning Escrick Park Estate, between York and Selby.
A duo of new commercial tenants are moving into the historic estate, which has been owned and managed by the Forbes Adam family for the past 300 years.
Nexus DNA Films, a Yorkshire film-making and photographic company, has taken 1,500 sq of workshop and showroom space at Milner’s Yard, Riccall Grange. Nexus DNA are currently working on the film Entity, starring Dervla Kirwan and Charlotte Riley.
Meanwhile New County Safety Systems have taken 600 sq ft of quality office space at 2 Park Court.
At the same time Escrick Park-based business advice and accountancy company Numerical Therapy, also known as CGA, has just extended its lease by six years.
They have been based at 3 Park Court in Escrick Park since 2007 and have just won a Special Business Achievement award in the York Environment Awards.
Since seven redundant farmsteads on the park, east of the A19, underwent a comprehensive £1.4 million refurbishment, 130 jobs have been created, providing a significant boost to the local economy.
These farm building conversions won the coveted Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Award.
Charles Forbes Adam, the owner and developer of Escrick Park, which is just five minutes away from the A64, commented: “We are delighted to welcome these two new tenants to our business park. Their arrival is a ringing endorsement of the quality of our rural offices, which are attracting new occupiers in challenging economic times.”
