Bond Dickinson advises Cenkos Securities on ECO Animal Health Group placing
A team of lawyers from national firm Bond Dickinson has advised Cenkos Securities plc in its role as Nominated Adviser and Broker on ECO Animal Health Group plc’s £12 million equity fund raising by way of a placing.
ECO is a leader in the veterinary pharmaceutical market and has received exceptional demand for its innovative antibiotic product, Aivlosin. Aivlosin provides control of major respiratory and enteric diseases in both pigs and poultry. Aivlosin received US Food and Drug Agency Approval in July 2012.
The placing will support ECO’s investment in stock and working capital and help fund the growth of the business. The placing is conditional upon the approval of ECO’s shareholders at a general meeting.
Bond Dickinson corporate partner Shiv Sibal advised Cenkos on the placing with assistance from solicitor Sam Malpass.
Speaking of the deal Shiv commented: “ECO’s international platform has driven its growth and the placing will help support further development of the business. We’re delighted to have worked with Cenkos and ECO in bringing this transaction to a successful conclusion.”
Stephen Keys, head of Growth Companies at Cenkos commented: “We’re pleased to have supported ECO with this fundraising which will help them build on their recent success in new markets and thank the Bond Dickinson team for working closely with us to achieve this result.”
