Home is where the heart is for Steve
Stockton-born Steve McDonald is back on home territory after joining Hunters’ fast-growing Teesside team as their personal agent for Stockton, Yarm and Eaglescliffe.
Experienced Steve is the latest recruit at the most northerly branch of the UK’s fastest-growing estate agency.
Having enjoyed great success in Ingleby Barwick over the past 12 months, Hunters are expanding into Stockton, Yarm and Eaglescliffe on the back of figures revealing that they sold more properties during August than any other branch within the group’s national network of more than 100 branches.
An estate agent for nearly 20 years, Steve has previously worked with estate agents in Middlesbrough, Yarm, Stockton, Darlington, Northallerton and Stokesley.
His commitment to customer service helped one of his previous employers become the Daily Express Estate Agency of the Year, while he has spent the last two years working as manager-valuer for a large Middlesbrough estate agent.
But now he says he is looking forward to “exciting times” as he looks to help Hunters to continue to buck the property trend on the back of a year-on-year 30% increase in sales.
Steve said: “It’s a big patch to cover but I know Stockton like the back of my hand, as I was born and bred here, so I’m delighted to have this opportunity.
“There’s a cracking range of housing in the area, from start-up homes to executive, while I firmly believe Stockton, Yarm and Eaglescliffe are great places to live.
“The redevelopment of Stockton High Street and the way the town is trying to make more of its proximity to the River Tees mean there are plenty of positives about the town.
“I have had more traditional roles in the past but what I like about Hunters is that the company is it’s a very personal service.”
Voted Best Lettings Partner for the entire Northern region of Hunters’ national network, the agency now has eight personal agents across the Teesside region.
