Langtree secures new tenant at Warrington trade park
One of the UK’s largest distributors of wholesale electrical goods has chosen Langtree’s Gateway 49 Trade Park in Warrington as its new bigger branch location.
City Electrical Factors Limited has taken a 4,140 sq ft unit at the park, on Kerfoot Street, just off the A49, on a 10 year lease taking it to 97 per cent occupancy.
Ian Cooper, group manager at City Electrical Factors, said: “Trade is very healthy for us at present and we decided it was the right time to move to larger premises. Our new unit is double the size of our previous space and allows us to offer a bigger and better range to our customers.
“It will help us to achieve our aim of being a one-stop-shop for goods and advice for tradesmen and domestic customers. The location of Gateway 49 is ideal for us being close to Warrington and Merseyside, and there is a wealth of businesses in the area which will benefit from our presence here.”
With a network of over 400 branches across the country, City Electrical Factors is the UK’s leading electrical wholesaler, and has a further 800 branches across the globe including North America, Australia, Canada and Spain.
Jan Brindle, regional manager at Langtree said: “Langtree is pleased to welcome such a successful brand to Gateway 49 Trade Park. Given the success City Electrical Factors has seen, we hope their new space at the park will help them to continue to grow in the town and wider region.”
Langtree operates a diverse portfolio of directly owned and joint venture property totalling more than 4 million sq ft comprising office parks, industrial estates and trade parks across the north and midlands of England.
