Yorkshire telecoms specialist in turnaround
Wakefield-based NGC Networks have experienced a turnaround as directors Dean Harrop and Nikki Guest forecast turnover next year to be over £3.5m, up from £1m in 2012/13,
The telecoms specialists have increased customer base and revenue since Mr Harrop and Nigel Adams bought the struggling business seven years ago.
NGC work with private and public sector organisations across the North, providing telephone systems and network services.
Its clients include Superbreak Holidays, Manning Stainton, Timpson, Puma UK, Animalcare, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Lowell Group and Outwood Academy.
Such is NGC Networks’ expansion, it is actively recruiting staff and has just appointed two new members to its sales team: Rabina Kaur, 25, and 30-year-old Alex Baddams who both previously worked for BT. NGC has also appointed Michelle Brewer to the role of operations co-ordinator.
Dean Harrop and Nikki Guest head up NGC on a day to day basis with Nigel Adams as Chairman. The company is now based at Calder Park near Wakefield.
Dean said: “We are operating in a very competitive marketplace but believe our commitment to finding the correct telecoms solution for clients which meets their business needs supported by high quality, on-going customer service has made the difference and enabled us to achieve consistent and sustainable year-on-year growth.”
NGC has recently announced a sponsorship deal with Yorkshire County Cricket Club and is an on-going supporter of the Bradford Bulls Rugby League team.
